Tallahassee, FL - The Rattler swimming teams had a final tune up going into February with the Spring Time Trial meet. This meet also gave the Rattlers a chance to gain some experience in some off events.
Freshman Alexandra Age and Senior Yolanda Baylor step up during the meet swimming a total of 6 events each. Baylor post a season best time in the 50 yard freestyle (:27.82), while Age posted a season best time in the 100 yard backstroke (1:04.89).
On the men’s side, freshman Devon Moses and Alphonso Byrd continued to make improvement in the freestyle events. Byrd dropped a second in the 200 yard freestyle (2:15.76) from last weekend at FAU, while Moses posted a personal best times in both the 50 yard freestyle (:23.65) and the 500 yard freestyle (6:12.04).
The Rattlers will close out the 2009-2010 season this Saturday against CCSA Conference opponent North Carolina A&T State University at the Morcom Aquatics Center at 2:00pm. This meet will also be the final home meet for our seniors. Please come out and join us wishing our seniors farewell!
