Swimming at RattlerMania 9/4/09

In conjuction with National College Colors Day, FAMU Student Government Association hosted Rattlermania, an annual kickoff event for the start of the new academic year and for the first home football game September 5 against Delaware State University.
College Colors Day is a national celebration that helps to promote school tradition and spirit by encouraging students, faculty, staff, alumni and fans to wear licensed university apparel that day.
From 1pm -6pm in FAMU Park students, faculty, staff and the community enjoyed food, fun activities, and music. Also the new administration for SGA and Rattler Sports teams were introduced.

This season's swimming and diving teams were showcased to the Rattler Nation. Head Coach Douglas Carrington announced the members of the team as well the schedule of home meets this season. Seniors Yolanda Baylor and Jack Dash also let the crowd know the need of their support on February 6th, 2010 for the 9th Annual HBCU Invitational. The men and women are shooting to regain bragging rights as the #1 HBCU Swimming Program in the nation.
